Have you ever noticed that the day after Labor Day has more work in it that a normal day? I love to take the day off and I had a great time relaxing on Lana'i at our church picnic, but the Tuesday after Labor Day becomes a bear! Wow - what do you call the Tuesday after Labor Day? - Intense Labor Day? - Needing a Break Day? - Terrible Tuesday? Whatever it needs to be called, yesterday was still worth it! This World Is Not My Home
The theme of this blog is that this world is not our true home, but our home is in heaven, where our hearts long to be. I once received the lyrics to an old song from my dear friend, J.D. McCormick that was written by Albert Brumley in 1937 that explain this thought to some degree. And it goes a little something like this - hit it!

My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue;
